Medical Advisors ::Edward Weinberger, MD Edward Weinberger is a Professor of Radiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He is also Director of Radiology at Seattle Children’s Hospital. He has specialized in pediatric radiology for over of 20 years. Dr. Weinberger serves on many committees offering his expertise in the areas of pediatric radiology and medical informatics. He is actively involved in national organizations and has received many awards and honors, including Teacher of the Year at the University of Washington. Dr. Weinberger received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and obtained his undergraduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Weinberger has published numerous articles, book chapters and scientific presentations on several areas of radiology. His professional affiliations include the American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, Society of Pediatric Radiology, Society of Magnetic Resonance, American Society of Neuroradiology, and American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology. Steven R. Pollei, MD Steven R. Pollei, M.D. is a neuroradiologist and the medical director of Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) in Federal Way and Lakewood. He offers additional expertise in diagnostic injections and pain management procedures. Dr. Pollei became interested in neuroradiology in the course of his radiology residency at the University of New Mexico Hospitals in Albuquerque, later completing a neuroradiology fellowship with a special interest in head and neck imaging at the University of Utah Hospitals in Salt Lake City. He also served on the faculty of that institution for a year prior to joining CDI. Dr. Pollei served a flexible internship at the Gunderson Clinic in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and one year of pediatrics at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Prior to that, he received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and obtained his undergraduate from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Dr. Pollei has published numerous articles and book chapters on several areas of neuroradiology, including ear, nose, and throat; spine; and the temporomandibular joint. His professional affiliations include the American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, American Society of Neuroradiology, International Spinal Injection Society, American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, and North American Spine Society. David R. Haynor, MD, PhD David R. Haynor is a Professor, Departments of Radiology and Neurological Surgery, University of Washington. Dr. Haynor is a board certified neuroradiologist who is also Adjunct Associate Professor, in the Department of Statistics at the University of Washington and Associate Professor, Departments of Radiology and Neurological Surgery, University of Washington Hospitals. Dr. Haynor received his MD from Harvard Medical School and his PhD in Math from the University of California in Berkeley. Dr. Haynor has contributed or authored over 150 publications and over 30 abstracts, as well as writing 4 book chapters. Dr. Haynor is very active in the SPIE Medical Imaging conference, serving as program Chair or Program Committee member multiple times in various sections. Vikram Krishnasetty, MD Vikram Krishnasetty is a radiologist with Columbus Radiology in Columbus, Ohio. He is fellowship trained in both musculoskeletal imaging and body imaging. He serves as the Section Head of Body Imaging and the Clinical Director of Information Technology for Columbus Radiology. Dr. Krishnasetty has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Prior to medical school he was employed as a researcher at the Navy Center for Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence, a division of the Naval Research Laboratories. He also has experience in the computer science field as a programmer for an internet service provider and a technical instructor. Dr. Krishnasetty earned his medical degree at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He completed an internship at Washington Hospital Center, an affiliate of the Georgetown University. Dr. Krishnasetty completed his radiology residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed subspecialty training in the division of Musculoskeletal Imaging as well as the division of Abdominal Radiology and Intervention at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He has been with Columbus Radiology since 2008. Dr. Krishnasetty has published articles and book chapters in the field of PET/CT, Bone Tumor Pathology and Thoracic Radiology.
