Management ::Chris Wood — President and CEO Mr. Wood has worked in the field of medical image post processing since 1987, and has held various senior management positions with Picker International and Siemens Medical Solutions. He has been responsible for the commercial release of products in the early stages of the fields of 3D medical image visualization and image guided surgery. He was most recently Vice President of Research and Development, and co-founder of Confirma. Confirma is a CAD company focusing on post processing and CAD detection for Breast MRI which won the 2003 award from Frost and Sullivan for the most entrepreneurial CAD company of the year. He holds several patents in the areas of image post processing, registration, CAD and visualization. Mr. Wood holds BS and MS degrees in Physics from the University of South Florida. John Motta — CFO Mr. Motta has more than 35 years experience in accounting, finance and administrative operations with both private and public companies. John's most recent experience was as an Associate with CFO Selections and, before that, as Director of Finance for Confirma, Inc. At Confirma, he managed the finances from startup phase to sales of $15 million. Prior positions include 20+ years as CFO/Controller. John is a CPA (Washington 1986, inactive) and has earned an MBA from St. Mary's College as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University. Scott Pillsbury — VP Operations Mr. Pillsbury has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with progressive experience in customer service, manufacturing, software development and information technology. Prior to joining Clario Medical, Scott was Director of Customer Service & IT for Seattle-based Zynchros, a division of SXC Health Solutions. During his tenure there, Scott successfully created and managed the various services required to support the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model. Prior to Zynchros Scott served as Director of Product Support, Manufacturing, and IT for Kirkland-based Confirma. While at Confirma, Scott oversaw the rapid growth of the service function to more than 300 customers, continually receiving positive recognition from clients. Other experience includes Director and management positions within the manufacturing, field and customer service departments of DR Systems, Inc. of San Diego, CA, Tripath Imaging (formally Neopath, Inc.) as well as Becton Dickinson. Scott earned a B.Sc. in Information Technology at the University of Phoenix. Tony Gevo — VP Sales Mr. Gevo brings healthcare automation expertise to Clario, having held various technical, sales and marketing positions at companies such as NCR Corp., Unisys, Lockheed Martin Medical Systems and InfoMed. In his last position as VP of Sales and Marketing for a nationally recognized vendor in the RIS market space, he doubled the company's client base in four years. Tony has working knowledge of several healthcare markets, including PACS, practice management/EMR, revenue cycle management, speech recognition and tele-radiology workflow applications. Prior to his tenure in the radiology space, he ran his own consulting company working with major software vendors like GE, Sun Microsystems and McKesson to provide marketing and sales training services. Tony has been a featured speaker at HIMSS, MGMA and several vendor user group meetings, and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. Joe Zipperer — VP Software Development Mr. Zipperer has a deep expertise in software development with a focus on embedded and networking products. Joe comes to Clario from Seattle-based MOD Systems, which enables traditional retailers to participate in the digital entertainment ecosystem via digital download kiosks. While at MOD, Joe oversaw all aspects of product development and introduced an agile process, resulting in high satisfaction rates in customer feedback. Prior to MOD, Joe was the director of engineering at WatchGuard Technologies, where he managed the creation of network security software and multiple hardware platforms, cloud software for real-time anti-virus and anti-spam updates, and management software. He has held senior engineering positions at Cosant and Tegic Communications, where he created software for mobile phones including T9 text input and AOL instant messenger SDKs. A vigilant advocate of solving challenges for the customer, Joe has a proven track record of delivering quality products that are continually measured for effectiveness and engineering excellence.
